After more than 10 years of intensive rehearsals, extensive sound tinkering and numerous concerts in Austria, Germany and Italy, the band consisting of singer Michael Mold (Bono Vox), guitarist Gernot Schödl (The Edge), bassist Florian Schmid (Adam Clayton) and drummer Reinhard Schwarzinger (Larry Mullen jnr.) has established itself as a permanent fixture on the national and international tribute scene.

The program of the “best U2 cover band in Austria” according to U2's record company - Radio 88.6 even speaks of “Europe's best U2 cover band” - has in the past included engagements for clients such as Universal Music Austria, Harley Davidson Europe, Die Presse, Irish Embassy, Junge Wirtschaft Österreich and appearances at events such as European Bike Week in Faak, Silvesterpfad am Rathausplatz Wien (in front of approx. 10,000 visitors), Donauinselfest, Prater, Orpheum, Szene, U4, EMSLounge, Bettfedernfabrik and Eventhalle Pyramide in Vienna. The preliminary highlight of the band's history was a concert in December 2015 in the Stadthalle Wien (large Hall D) together with the German comedian Otto Waalkes at a charity event for “Licht ins Dunkel”.ixer part of the national and international tribute scene.

Original audio backing tracks, stage outfits from various U2 eras and a Europe-wide unique video show, which includes lovingly detailed, faithful reproductions of the video animations from various U2 shows of the last decades, make the TribU2 show an audiovisual experience in a class of its own.

The live shows will feature the biggest U2 hits such as Sunday Bloody Sunday, I still haven't found what I'm looking for, Where the streets have no name, With or without you, One, Pride, Beautiful Day, Vertigo and numerous other songs from the last 40 years of U2.
